

Dell plans to launch the first smartphone in America in cooperation with AT&T.
According to media reports, the computer vendor, Dell, plans to launch the smartphone that carrying the Google Android in the early 2010, and will sell it in cooperation with the American telecoms operator AT&T (American telephone & telegraph company).
The reports say Dell will be the latest science and technology provider trying to occupy a place in the fast-growing smartphone market, and compete with the leading manufacturer iPhone and the Research in Motion (RIM).This phone will promote the Google cell phone platform, and upgrade its competitive position with iPhone and Microsoft.
But many analysts said the world's second largest PC manufacturers Dell will face tough campaign in the overcrowded smartphone market, South Korea's Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday, it will start to sell the Android cell phones in cooperation with the telecommunication operators Sprint Nextel. Taiwan's rivals such as Acer and Asus and other providers will enter into the smartphones.
It says that the cell phone will owns the touch screen and photography functions.
Dell's spokesman Andrew Bowins is unwilling to comment on the report. But he said, "We work closely with the carriers all over the world to sell the mobile Broadband arithmetic facilities.
Google and AT&T are also reluctant to comment, but AT&T spokesman Michael Coe said, "We will sell the Android cell phones in the near future.
