Connectify is a very useful free software that can be installed on the notebook computer simulation Windows7 into a wireless router, wireless access point (Wireless AP, Access Point).

1. What conditions and select Connectify?

My experience: do not see the network adapter specific models, so better not to look directly install, if not compatible, will be reminded of. As long as your computer ages of 4 years of age, generally no problem.

* Broadcom 4310-series (in many Dell laptops)

* Realtek RTL8187SE (with the drivers that came with Windows 7)

* Sitecom Wireless USB Adapter 54g WL-608, with Ralink RT2870 drivers, version 3.0.9.0
Not compatible with the wireless card:
* Belkin F5D7050UK
* Belkin Wireless G MIMO devices (as of version 3.1.2.0)
* D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G122
* Gigabyte GA-WPKG 802.11g
* Intel 3945/4965, 2200BG (most Intel cards, unfortunately)
* Mac Book Builtin Broadcom devices
* Realtek RTL8187 (like in older 802.11bg USB dongles)
* Zydas ZD1211 (also in 802.11bg USB dongles)
3. Connectify download and install tutorial
1 to the official website, the access to the file size ConnectifyInstaller.exe only 1.08M.
2 Double-click can be installed, the disadvantage is no path option, directly installed to C drive program files.
3 After installation is complete, resides the system tray, icon tray, shaped as shown left. (Settings, do not forget to open your laptop on the wireless network)

Wi-Fi Name:
Description: Give your wireless network a name to identify it, the default is Connectify-me.
Requirements: up to 32 characters, does not support Chinese.
Password
Description: Set the password characters 10-26
Requirements: Only the letters a-f and 0-9.
Internet
Description: Choose your existing computer network connection.
Requirements: General for the local connection or a broadband connection
WiFi
