We have been always asked “does you factory have license on the Adobe flash 10.1 or 10.2, when producing tablet PC?”

 

Lets’ clarify in what situation the tablet PC need to have license.

 

1. When the factory pre-install Adobe flash player in the tablet PC during production, factory  need to pay for the license and joining the program called "open screen project".

 

2. When the end users download Adobe flash player to the tablet PC for his own using, it is free. Same as desktop computer PC, Adobe only charge on Photoshop, flash writer ...., charging on suppliers and writer, not users or reader.

 

So for importers’ marketing, who can write "support playing flash" or " can play flash", not " pre-installed flash", which only Motorola, HTC those international big brands has agreements with Adobe to do the pre-installment in their tablet PC.
