 Once they told you the 3G dongle model in the tablet PC, you can check the GSM frequency the dongle support. For example, they told you that is the Huawei EM770 in the tablet PC, which is the most popular model in the world now. You can go to the Huawei official web , check the frequency, you get it is

 

HSPA/UMTS 850/1900/2100MHz

We see all yellow highlighted frequency, which are 3G 2100, which our example 3G module Huawei EM770 support HSPA/UMTS 850/1900/2100MHz, so the tablet pc work for 2100MHz and so this tablet PC can get on the 3G services in UK for VODAFONE, O2, Hutchison 3G , Orange and T-Mobile (UK).

 

Some setting may need to do, if the factory did not set the APN.

 

Ask GSM Carrier to help, only they know the APN address, in the setting of Android machine, you can input as below example for UK Vodafone

Above information should be provided by your GSM carrier.

 

Finally remind, if your suppliers cannot tell you the 3G module model or there are no 3G module models on the ad, don’t buy. They are probably not one of the true suppliers in the part 1 article mentioned. They are traders, which give you the higher price tablet PC. The most serious, they cannot make sure your tablet PC can work with your local 3G network.
